The Ceremony

The couple had a ten person wedding party that included siblings, friends, niece, nephew and Veronica’s daughter.

The ceremony held in the historic Naper Settlement Century Memorial Chapel that has dark rich wood, vibrant red carpeting with ornately designed stain-glass windows.

The elegant wedding was attended by many close family and friends and presided over by the couples pastor. The Veronica and Enrique wanted to symbolize the merging of their two family with a sand ceremony that included Veronica’s daughter, the three colors of sand, purple, grey and white were poured into a etched vase mixing permanently to symbolize the two families merging into one family unit.

The couple exited the chapel to a shower of bubbles as then processed down the front steps onto the history museums beautiful grounds.

Wedding Portraits

We first photographed family and bridal party portraits inside the chapel to capture the warm and inviting setting of their nuptial location. Then we headed out to explore and capture stunning portraits of the bridal party and happy couple on the grounds of the heritage museum that include several historical building from Naperville’s past.

The men of the bridal party including the groom had a surprise for everyone. The team were no mere groomsmen but “super heroes” is disguise Each of the groomsmen including the tinny ring-bearer were sporting super hero tee shirts under their suits. Enrique donned the tee shirt of his favorite super hero Batman. His crime fighting team a.k.a. the groomsmen sported the symbols of Captain America, Spiderman, Superman and Deadpool. For one fun photograph the bridesmaids pulled open the dress shirts of the groomsmen to reveal their real identities as super heroes.

The Reception

The bride and groom chose the Italian restaurant of Maggiano’s Oakbrook for their wedding reception. The food at the Oak Brook restaurant is to die for and that night was they hit it out of the park with the quality of food.

To expand the super hero theme the couple had a three teared wedding cake with two distinct sides. One side was white and had the appearance of a traditional wedding cake while the other side was Batman themed complete with the bat signal.

Veronica and Enrique chose Tony and Emily from Extreme Sounds Entertainment who kept the colorfully lit dance floor full all night all with guests dancing the night away. Emily added to the fun with a top of the line photo booth complete with fun props that were enjoyed by everyone.

Fisherman’s Inn Wedding Photos | Elburn, IL Wedding Photographer | Jennifer and Chase

There are many words that could describe Jennifer & Chase’s wedding held at Fisherman’s Inn in Elburn, IL: gorgeous, stunning, relaxing and fun just to name a few. The couple really knows how to throw a party for their guest. The choosing of the historic Fisherman’s Inn with rustic elegance and natural surroundings was a fantastic choice.

First Look

The couple chose to do a first look with a special private intimate moment on a tinny island at the venue a fews hours before the ceremony. Chase waited at the end of a arched bridge on a tinny flower filled island looking way until Jennifer gave him the OK to turn around to see his bride for the first time. I captured the private moment from a respectful distance giving the couple their privacy while being able to capture that moment for them them to enjoy years later.
