There are many words that could describe Jennifer & Chase’s wedding held at Fisherman’s Inn in Elburn, IL: gorgeous, stunning, relaxing and fun just to name a few. The couple really knows how to throw a party for their guest. The choosing of the historic Fisherman’s Inn with rustic elegance and natural surroundings was a fantastic choice.
The couple chose to do a first look with a special private intimate moment on a tinny island at the venue a fews hours before the ceremony. Chase waited at the end of a arched bridge on a tinny flower filled island looking way until Jennifer gave him the OK to turn around to see his bride for the first time. I captured the private moment from a respectful distance giving the couple their privacy while being able to capture that moment for them them to enjoy years later.
Wedding Party Portraits
After the couple enjoyed their first look the couple posed for their wedding photos around the elegant and natural surroundings then inviting their bridal party to join them for portraits. Jennifer and Chase’s family strolled down form the historic barn venue to join the bride and groom for portraits. Jennifer, Chase and their wedding party and families returned to the venue the freshen up and relax before the ceremony.
The outdoor ceremony was elegantly decorated with a arch filled with beautiful flowers under a stunning blue sky by Elizabeth Wray Design, Inc. The mood was one of excitement for the guest waiting Jennifer’s walk down the isle with her father. Chase smiled from ear to ear as he saw his bride walk down the isle to moving music. Jennifer and Chase choose Rev. Roy Frye from Service Ministries to perform their wedding ceremony. Rev. Frye spoke of their love and future life together. The couple finished up the ceremony with an arm and arm walk up the isle with Chase giving a high-five several guests on the way out.
Having done all their formal wedding and family portraits before the ceremony the couple was able to immediately join their guest for an outdoor cocktail hour with tasty hors d’oeuvre and yard games. Jennifer and Chase and their guests were able to mingle and enjoy the fantastic early fall weather.
Dinner was held inside the recently renovated historic barn that showcases the barn structure and rich woods that was decorated with . The couple entered the dinning room hand in hand to the cheers from family and friends. The couple cut their three tiered cake from The Sugar Path before taking their seats and thanking everyone for celebration their wedding day with them. The guests were served unbelievably great food served by attentive wait staff from Fisherman’s Inn.
After dinner Jennifer and Chase and their guest moved to the party room for dancing. Jimmy from Music Mania, Inc. rocked the house keeping the dance floor jumping all night long to joy of everyone.
